Amaris Grocery was born out of a personal struggle. Living in Nairobi, I often found myself frustrated by the lack of access to clean, healthy kienyeji (traditional) vegetables. With a growing desire to eat healthier and support local farmers, I embarked on a journey to find fresh, quality kienyeji produce that met my standards for nutrition and cleanliness.
After searching far and wide, I realized that there was a gap in the market—one where people like me, who care deeply about what they consume, couldn't easily access the wholesome, traditional vegetables that are central to our diets. It was then that the idea for Amaris Grocery was born.
